  • The qualification of Master Luthier of the Guild is not a recognised qualification but designed to illustrate the hard work that you have done to become a Master Luthier of the Guild.
  • We will not be responsible for any claims, losses or damages (whether direct or indirect) arising out of or relating to the use of or reliance on the contents of this website except to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law.
  • On occasions the website may be offline, or the sites to which it links. We accept no responsibility for any damage arising from the unavailability of this website or the information it contains.
  • I am not responsible for the content of any third party website accessed via links from this website.

  • You agree and undertake to indemnify The Guitar Makers Guild against all liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses (including any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties and legal and other reasonable professional costs and expenses} suffered or incurred by The Guitar Makers Guild. 

Addendum
  • If you fail to pay your subscription on time you will be removed from the Guild and all benefits such as using the Guild Crest will cease and be cancelled and any further use will not be allowed
  • If we get an enquiry as to whether you are a Member of the Guitar Makers Guild in good favour you permit to our replying accordingly. This will only be basically to say "yes" or "no". No further details about you will be given
  • If it is decided to close the Guild anyone who is a Member or Associate Member of the Guild or undertaking any Grade will be allowed to continue to the end with all the relevant benefits and the Guild administration will stay in place for 12 months after such closing.

  • You will not send bulk email whether opt-in or otherwise from the Website.
  • You will not employ programs which consume excessive system resources, including but not limited to processor cycles and memory. 
  • Any file you store on the Website will be reachable via a hyperlink from a page on your site. 
  • We reserve the right to remove any material which we deem inappropriate without notice. 
  • You shall keep secure any identification, password and other confidential information relating to your account and shall notify us immediately of any known or suspected unauthorised use of your account or breach of security, including but not limited to loss, theft or unauthorised disclosure of your password or other security information. 
  • You shall observe the procedures which we may from time to time prescribe and shall make no use of the Website which is detrimental to our other Members. 
  • You shall procure that all mail is sent in accordance with applicable legislation (including data protection legislation) and in a secure manner. 
  • You warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and if you are a company, you warrant that the Services will not be used by anyone under the age of 18 years. 
  • Any access to other networks connected to the Website must comply with the rules appropriate for those other networks. 
  • While we will use every reasonable endeavour to ensure the integrity and security of the Website, we do not guarantee that the Website will be free from unauthorised users or hackers and we shall be under no liability for non-receipt or misrouting of email or for any other failure of email.
